Anglo-French toastie

Anglo-French toastie

 Ingredients:

  1.  2 cuts white bread, around 1cm thick
  2. unsalted spread
  3. 15 g Comte cheddar
  4. 15 g Westcombe or artisan cheddar
  5. 2 cuts higher-welfare cooked ham
  6. ½ tablespoon white wine vinegar
  7. 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil
  8. crisply ground dark pepper
  9. ocean salt
  10. 1 little consuming apple
  11. 1 modest bunch blended mixed greens leaves ,, for example, frisse, watercress, rocket ..

 How to make:

  1. Delicately butter the cuts of bread, then place buttered-side down on a chopping board. Cut and lay the cheeses in excess of one bit of bread, top with the ham then place the second bit of bread on top, buttered-side up. Place into a preheated toastie creator, brace the top down and toast for 4 to 5 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  2. In the interim, include the vinegar and oil to a clean stick jug with a little squeeze of salt and pepper, pop the top on and shake to join. Cut the apple into matchsticks, evacuating the center, then throw with the greens leaves and dressing. Serve the brilliant toastie with the crisp greens as an afterthought, and tuck in......
