Quick Cherry Crisp



Ingredients:


  • 1/3-1/2 glass sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 cups frozen unsweetened set tart red cherries
  • 1 cup disintegrated shortbread cookies
  • 2 tablespoons  margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup slashed pecans or almonds, toasted
  • Ice cream(discretionary)

How to make:


      1. In a little bowl, join sugar and cornstarch. In a large pan, sprinkle cornstarch mixture over cherries; stir to consolidate. Cook and mix over medium high temperature around 10 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Cook and mix for 2 minutes more.

     2. Then, in a medium vessel, completely consolidate disintegrated cookies, margarine, and nuts.

    3. Isolate cherry mixture among four pastry dishes. Sprinkle cookie mixture over cherry mixture. If desired, present with Ice cream.

It's so easy.......

Ingredients:

  •  6 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground dark pepper
  •  1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 measure generally useful flour
  •  1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
     


How to make:



      1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Delicately oil a 9x13 inch heating skillet.

      2. In a blender, consolidate eggs, milk, flour, salt and pepper; cover and process until smooth. Put into prepared baking pan.

     3. Bake in preheated oven until set, around 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheddar.

     4. Carefully release edges of omelet from pan. Beginning from the short edge of the pan, cautiously roll up omelet. Place omelet crease side down on a serving plate and cut into 6 equal sized pieces

Chhena Gaja




 Chhena Gaja

Chhena gaja is a sweet dish from Bangladesh, Orissa, India. Dissimilar to some other prominent Chhena-based Oriya pastries, for example, Rasagolla, which have spread all through Bangladesh and India. But now it is almost on the way to lost.

Ingredients: 


  • 1 liter Milk for Chhena
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp semolina or Sooji
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • Oil, for deep frying

How to make: 


  1. Heat up the milk on medium hotness in an overwhelming bottomed pan.
  2. Include the lemon juice and mix mixture persistently till it gets to be soured.
  3. Channel the coagulated drain through a muslin cloth.
  4. Wash the Chenna under running water, to uproot the lemony taste.
  5. Press out all the exceed expectations water out of the chenna.
  6. Move the Chenna in a dish.
  7. Include the semolina.
  8. Squeeze the Chenna-semolina mixture, till it secures a raw consistency.
  9. Make 16 to 20 equivalent estimated balls from the mixture.

  19. Dunk the singed Chenna rectangles in the sugar syrup.
  20. Chenna Gaja's are prepared to be served.

    Serve warm

Sorshey Maach/ Mustard Fish


Sorshey Maach/ Mustard Fish




This is a standout amongst the most tasty Bengali fish arrangements. I have included Sorshey Ilish independently as it is a class in its own. This planning is perfect for Pabda, Pomfret, Bhetki, Rohu, Katla and so forth. Likewise imperative is to note that in Bengali principle dish arrangements no fish is ever marinated. You can marinate fish for fries and so on however never for "Macher jhol".

Ingredients:



  • Pabda/Parshey – four entire pieces or four expansive bits of Bhetki/Rohu/Katla- ideally peti pices or filet.
  • Half measure mustard glue – dependably pound it with one or two ice fledglings to stay away from severity. Likewise include a squeeze of salt and one green chili and a spoon of slashed coriander leaves.
  • Six green chilies – two slitted fifty-fifty and the rest can be forked.
  • 1 tsp Kalo jeera or Kalonji or dark onion seeds or Nigella seeds.
  • Mustard oil according to taste.
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp red chili powder.
  • Salt to taste. 


How to make:



1.Heat four spoons of oil in a level bottomed skillet on high fire and include the Nigella seeds just when the oil is hot.Wait for the flavor from the seeds

2.After that brings down the fire and includes one cut green chili – keep clear as it may pop.

3.Include the fish pieces and turn them to cover oil on all sides – you can daintily sear or saute them on the off chance that you wish.

4.Keep the fire low and include the mustard glue, turmeric and red chili powder. Saute for some time.

5.Mix well and add water simply enough to cover the fish pieces.
Include whatever is left of the chilies and cover the pan. Cook on low fire for 15 mins.

6.Expel from fire and sprinkle one table spoon crude mustard oil. Trim with two green chilies and a twig of fresh coriander leaf.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese


Baked Macaroni and Cheese


Ingredients:


  • 1/2 pound elbow  macaroni
  • 3 tablespoons  Butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon powdered mustard
  • 3 glasses milk
  • 1/2 glass yellow onion, finely diced
  • 1 cove leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1  egg
  • 12 ounces sharp  cheddar  shredded
  • 1 teaspoon genuine salt
  • Black pepper

TOPPING:

  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup panko bread scraps

How to make:


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large pot of bubbling, salted water cook the pasta to still somewhat firm.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, in a different pot, liquefy the margarine. Whisk in the flour and mustard and keep it moving for around five minutes. Verify its free of lumps. Mix in the milk onion, cove leaf, and paprika. Stew for ten minutes and uproot the cove leaf.
  4. Temper in the egg. Blend in 3/4 of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Fold the macaroni into the mix and put into a 2-quart meal dish. Top with remaining cheese.
  5. Melt the margarine in a saute container and throw the bread pieces to cover. Top the macaroni with the bread crumbs. Prepare for 30 minutes. Expel from broiler and rest for five prior minutes serving.
  6. Keep in mind to save leftovers for browned Macaroni and Cheese

Spicy Stir Fried Shrimp Paste

Shrimps  are snappy and simple to get ready and promisingly delicious. You can cook shrimps in less than 10 minutes and your family will be simply cheerful to have it during supper............

 

 

Ingredients:


  • 2 cups clean shrimps
  • 3 tablespoon mustard oil  
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 2-3 green chili, chopped
  • 4 entire dried red chili
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cups onion, chopped coarsely


How to make:

    

     1.  Heat around a tablespoon of mustard oil in a skillet, include the shrimps and throw for 2 minutes. Take out and keep for some other time

     2.  Pour an alternate tablespoon of oil in the same skillet and pan-fry the onion, garlic , red and green stew. As the onions turn translucent, include the shrimps with the ground flavors and season with salt. Mix for a minutes, and move everything in a blender jug

     3. Use the beat mode in the blender to coarsely crush the shrimps.

     4. Transfer to a bowl, spill in the additional mustard oil, serve right away with warm white rice.
