Spicy Stir Fried Shrimp Paste

Shrimps  are snappy and simple to get ready and promisingly delicious. You can cook shrimps in less than 10 minutes and your family will be simply cheerful to have it during supper............

 

 

Ingredients:


  • 2 cups clean shrimps
  • 3 tablespoon mustard oil  
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 2-3 green chili, chopped
  • 4 entire dried red chili
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cups onion, chopped coarsely


How to make:

    

     1.  Heat around a tablespoon of mustard oil in a skillet, include the shrimps and throw for 2 minutes. Take out and keep for some other time

     2.  Pour an alternate tablespoon of oil in the same skillet and pan-fry the onion, garlic , red and green stew. As the onions turn translucent, include the shrimps with the ground flavors and season with salt. Mix for a minutes, and move everything in a blender jug

     3. Use the beat mode in the blender to coarsely crush the shrimps.

     4. Transfer to a bowl, spill in the additional mustard oil, serve right away with warm white rice.

 Ingredients:


  1.  2 cuts white bread, around 1cm thick

  3. 15 g Comte cheddar
  4. 15 g Westcombe or artisan cheddar
  5. 2 cuts higher-welfare cooked ham
  6. ½ tablespoon white wine vinegar
  7. 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil
  8. crisply ground dark pepper
  9. ocean salt

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 mugs flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3 large bananas(ripe), pounded

  • 3/4 mug sugar

  • 1 egg, gently beaten

  • 1/3 mug margarine, softened

  • Topping

  • 1/3 mug brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon flour

  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon cold butter

  • 1/4 mug nuts, slashed (discretionary)


How to make: 



1. In an extensive vessel, blend the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

2. Blend bananas, sugar, egg and dissolved butter.

3. Mix into dry mixture just until soaked.

4. Fill muffins measures 3/4 full.

Chocolate Victoria Sponge Cake

 Ingredients:

  • 225 g Butter or Margarine (8oz)
  • 225 g Caster Sugar (8 oz)

  • 175 g Self-Raising Flour (6 oz) Sieved
  • 50 g Cocoa Powder (2 oz)

For the Icing:

  • 75 g Unsalted Butter (3 oz)
  • 175 g Icing Sugar (6 oz) plus extra to dust
  • 45 g Cocoa Powder (3 tbsp)
  • about 10 ml Milk or warm water 

 

Directions:


1 At first Pre-heat your oven to 180ºC/350ºF/Gas Mark 4. Grease and line two 20cm (8 inch) sandwich tins.
2.Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs and if the mixture starts to curdle, add a little flour.
3.Fold in the remaining flour and the cocoa powder with a metal spoon.
4.Divide the mixture between the two tins and bake for approx. 25 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch. Remove from oven and leave to cool before turning out onto a cooling rack.
5.To make the butter icing, place the butter in a bowl and beat until soft. Gradually sift and beat in the icing sugar and then add enough milk / water to make the icing fluffy and spreadable. Sift and beat the cocoa powder in to the icing and use it to sandwich the two sponges together.
6.Dust the top of the cake lightly with the sieved icing sugar.

1 serving = 98g

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cauliflower floret
  • 1 medium sized potato, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup mung beans
  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon tumeric
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil ........

Directions:


  1. Soak the mung beans overnight, or if you are short on time cook them with a half cup of water on medium heat in a pressure cooker for 8 minutes.
  2. Fry the cauliflower and potato cubes lightly in a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the onion, the jalapeno peppers and the spices.
  3. Add the rice, the mung beans and about a half cup of oil and stir until well incorporated.
  4. Add two cups of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover the pot.
  5. Simmer for 20 minutes, or until the water is absorbed.
